How to Create a RESTful Server with Erlang

A new tutorial by Fernando "Brujo" Benavides

Brujo is at it again. On the Inaka blog, he recently published another Erlang tutorial called "Canillita - Your First Erlang Server." In it, you will learn how to build a RESTful server with Erlang, a useful but very basic project.

He uses SSE, cowboy, sumo_db, and jiffy to build an SSE/RESTful server which handles "thousands of listeners in one node" and "benefits from the virtues of Erlang." The system handles crashes effortlessly, it's easy to add new nodes, and changes can be compiled without turning off the servers.
